A normal day

Reegan LOVES his grapefruit in the morning... or as he calls it, GRAPEFRUIT-ER

When we are not upset over Santa, we normally are happy and look like this!!

Christmas

Well I am a little surprised that christmas is already here. Where does time go? We are ready for christmas, but will put the christmas wrapping on hold for another few weeks. Reegan loves to open gifts, and he will think it is time to un-wrap everything the minute I put them under the tree. To help us all limit our screaming and yelling, we will just wait to put them out! As you can tell below, we went to the mall to see Santa. Reegan did a little better than the last few years, but still would not get to close to him. And well Kendall didn't really like it much at all!!

Santa also made a surprise visit at our Chapple family party, and the pictures are very similiar to these ones. Maybe next year we can accomplish sitting on Santa's lap!!

I hope everyone has a great holiday season. Mitch is going to have knee surgery on the 22nd, so our holidays will be a little different than normal.

Halloween

For the past few years Reegan has not wanted to dress up. He would just fight us, so instead of fighting, we just gave up. This year was the same.... did not want to dress up, so instead of wasting the money, we were glad to have a pair of pj's from Grandma Glenda that looked like a buzz lightyear costume. He was so happy to wear those out. Kendall was a little dancer, and I made her a tutu. (And yes, I said MADE!!) It was easy and worked out great, except fitting her in her carseat with it on.

Cheese!
(still no hair... Reegan tells us that Santa will bring her some HAIRS...
not hair, but HAIRS!)

It's a battle to get Reegan and Kendall to both look at the camera at the same time, but at least one of the two is smiling. We had a great night. At Grandma Glenda's house, Reegan was the one who handed out the candy to all the trick or treaters. He even got brave enough that would want to do it alone! He is getting so big.

Taylor Halloween Tradition

Every year for halloween we carve pumpkins as a Taylor family. Even when we were little, my dad always great massive pumpkins. I remember we use to take the biggest one, load it up in the truck and take it out to the convenience store, and have a "guess how much it weighs" contest. Its been in our blood for a long time. Well since we have all gotten married, and had kids we have continued to get together. Its always alot more work for the adults than the kids, but everyone enjoys it.

This year was the first year Reegan really cared about helping, and as soon as I got the top cut open, he told me it was stinky and he was done. It was the thought that counts I guess... We had a great dinner of soup and home-made bread, and then spent the night carving away. I am glad that we continue to do this and share the memories with our kids.

Mason kept calling it a monster, and he and Reegan would run around and yell at it.
Dallas and Brinley had fun. Brinley told me that her little pumpkin was at her house, and that these pumpkins were not for her.

Reegan was so happy with my ending pumpkin. They are on our front porch, next to the little ones we got for him and Kendall. We went to the U-pick pumpkin patch here in town, and he LOVED picking the ones he wanted. He made sure that we got one for sister also. He sure loves her!

Storage Room

Since the day we moved into our house, I have been telling Mitch, "we should have had the people hang the sheet rock, so we can put shelves up". Well it has now been a year, and finally I broke the news to Mitch, that we would not be going to Utah for the weekend, we were going to put the hang the sheet rock. It took most of the morning, but Mitch got it done. Now I just have to get him to build the shelves. I have been working on food storage, and other odds and ends, and I am tired of them just being put in piles in the basement.

Reegan had a great day with Mitch. He went and got his hammer, and went to work, putting screws in random places all morning. He LOVED it! He is such a boy, and a big helper to his dad...

Look back

Today during nap time I took the time to read over my past posts. I have never been a huge blogger, but it seriously brough back good memories of funny things Reegan has done, or said. It made me realize that I wanted to do better on blogger, so that is the goal.

Today I got the CD back from Tasha with our kids pictures that we had taken a few days ago. They were great! Our kids are not usually very good at pictures, but this was different. Tasha had a airplane and a car for some props, and that made Reegan's day. He still asks to go back and ride them again. He loved them. Here are a few of my favorite.

Anyways, I loved the pictures and I think I might just print them all off to have!
This weekend I convinced Mitch that we would stay home from a weekend in Utah, to sheetrock our storage room. It was just as fun!! At least now I can get my food storage and stuff up off the floor and not just continue to pile it all on the floor in the basement!

future....

Okay, I know that was overload, but at least I feel better about it. I know that it was out of order and all messy, but it was more for me than anyone else. I am going to try and do better on
the blog in the future because time is moving to fast.
