Every year for halloween we carve pumpkins as a Taylor family. Even when we were little, my dad always great massive pumpkins. I remember we use to take the biggest one, load it up in the truck and take it out to the convenience store, and have a "guess how much it weighs" contest. Its been in our blood for a long time. Well since we have all gotten married, and had kids we have continued to get together. Its always alot more work for the adults than the kids, but everyone enjoys it.
This year was the first year Reegan really cared about helping, and as soon as I got the top cut open, he told me it was stinky and he was done. It was the thought that counts I guess... We had a great dinner of soup and home-made bread, and then spent the night carving away. I am glad that we continue to do this and share the memories with our kids.
Mason kept calling it a monster, and he and Reegan would run around and yell at it.

Storage Room
Since the day we moved into our house, I have been telling Mitch, "we should have had the people hang the sheet rock, so we can put shelves up". Well it has now been a year, and finally I broke the news to Mitch, that we would not be going to Utah for the weekend, we were going to put the hang the sheet rock. It took most of the morning, but Mitch got it done. Now I just have to get him to build the shelves. I have been working on food storage, and other odds and ends, and I am tired of them just being put in piles in the basement.
Reegan had a great day with Mitch. He went and got his hammer, and went to work, putting screws in random places all morning. He LOVED it! He is such a boy, and a big helper to his dad...

Look back
Today during nap time I took the time to read over my past posts. I have never been a huge blogger, but it seriously brough back good memories of funny things Reegan has done, or said. It made me realize that I wanted to do better on blogger, so that is the goal.
Today I got the CD back from Tasha with our kids pictures that we had taken a few days ago. They were great! Our kids are not usually very good at pictures, but this was different. Tasha had a airplane and a car for some props, and that made Reegan's day. He still asks to go back and ride them again. He loved them. Here are a few of my favorite.

future....
Okay, I know that was overload, but at least I feel better about it. I know that it was out of order and all messy, but it was more for me than anyone else. I am going to try and do better on
the blog in the future because time is moving to fast.

No more Reegan's jumping on the bed...
I have been telling Reegan not to jump off the bed, and well the lesson is now learned, the HARD WAY! Reegan was playing in his room and jumped off his bed and hit a leap frog toy we have, and ended up with his shiner! He hit it, screamed, and then mitch carryed him out of his room, and it was instantly the size of the golf ball and black. Its been pretty nasty. WE have a bandaid on it currently, but Reegan actually missed the bruise when he put it on his head, and so now he has a bandaid on the middle of his forehead.
Potty training issues
Well we finally got Reegan potty trained. It took us several months, which included lots of crying, screaming and freaking out (mostly, on my part). However he finally got it. One morning it just CLICKED, and we had 2 minor accidents within that week, but we finally got it. Its been about 3 months and he has gotten it down! FINALLY!! We promised Reegan with EVERYTHING you can think of to get him to potty train. And the minute he got the #2 done the first time, he turned around and said, "I WANT MY CAR!" ... so thanks to Craigslist we were able to buy a used one that serve the need of the car. He loves that car and drives it often.... I am just glad we are done with diapers on Reegan. And I am not looking forward to Kendalls turn .....
Blackfoot fair rides
We went to the blackfoot fair. I was seriously nervous about taking Reegan, because he is known for running away from us, but he did great. He loved all the rides, animals and people. He got something from me, and enjoyed a little people watching! I wish I had a camcorder when Mitch was trying to SQEEZE into the airplane ride. Lets just say it wasn't built for him!
catch up
This summer we got our lawn put in. (What a battle...) But we had to get a new lawn mower. Reegan loved to looked at the book and had to show Kendall SEVERAL times which one he thought would be the best.
We have had a few babysitting nights with cousins. One night after the kids ran outside for hours, I was tired and convinced the kids to come inside and had to bride them with popcorn!
