We decided on a name...

Well we decided on a name. You would think that 9 months, or 40 weeks would be long enough to decide on a name, but not for us!

The winner is .... Kendall Lyn Chapple

here a few pictures that I thought would be fun to share with everyone.
Reegan does NOT share his blanket or pillow ever, but he has decided to share his pillow with Kendall while they watch a cartoon before bedtime. (As you can tell, Kendall is sleeping through it, but its the thought that Reegan will share his pillow that counts.)

New Arrival

Well we are proud to let everyone know that we have had our baby girl!! I was induced Friday the 13th at 6 am, and baby NO NAME arrived at 7:03 pm. It was a long day, but over all, everything went great and was so much better than the labor and delivery with Reegan.
weight: 9 pounds 4 oz
height: 21.5 inches
As you can tell from the comment earlier, we have not settled on a name, but hope to be released from the hospital in about an hour and a half, so we will have to get it settled on soon.

We are alive..

It has been weeks since I posted anything new, but life seems pretty quiet lately.

I am on the countdown for the new baby to arrive. I am only 11 days from my due date, and would happy going in any time now! I am ready to be done with the pregnancy, but really should not complain, because I have had pretty easy pregnancies... They say this is a baby girl, so we are crossing our fingers that the ultrasound was correct. If not, we are going to need to get some boy clothes out and ready! Reegan seems pretty excited to be a brother, but I really dont think he has any idea what is going on.

My sister Abby had her baby about a month ago. He is so cute, and Reegan loves him. They named him Dayton, and Reegan loves to go and visit him. This is my favorite picture of Dayton. I just love his cheeks!! That is one bonus to have a big baby, which is common for my family!!

Mitch has been crazy busy at work lately, which is a huge blessing. But I think he is ready for a break and is constantly asking if I am in labor so he can have a few days off of work! We are staying busy and are currently trying to figure out what we are going to do with our yard this summer.... fences, trees, flowers, shrubs, and grasss. We have a busy summer ahead of us, but we are excited.

Hopefully my next post will have baby news!! Everyone cross your fingers!

Who needs water..

Reegan found his swimming toy the other day in the closet, and insisted on Mitch blowing it up for him. Mitch got it all blown up and Reegan has just had a GREAT time! He crawls in there and plays and just has a great time, I have a feeling he would rather play with it OUT of the water than actually IN the water.
He has also started to blame Dena (his favorite white bear) for things being wrong or breaking. He managed to get the steering wheel off of the coupe swimming toy, and he brought it to me all upset and said, "Dena broke it.... " Apparently we need to start working on the truth

Also I thought these pictures of Reegan were fun. I had ordered a few new bedspread/quilt things for our room, and Reegan had to put them back in the box and then get in on top of it and play. He thought it was great and was upset when I shipped the box and some of the quilts back to the store!

Who needs toys, when you have boxes!

Seriously, GRAPEFRUITS?

A few weeks ago, Fred Myers was having a sale on grapefruits so I went and stocked up on several because I have always been a fan of fresh fruits ... well I gave Reegan a bite of one of them thinking he would say they were "yucky" but did the exact opposite! He can not get enough of them. The other day, Reegan probably ate close to 3 FULL GRAPEFRUITS, because Mitch doesn't like to tell him no. He not only eats them, but gets very impatient if you do not squeeze the juice out of the grapefruit into the bowl fast enough. The other day, it was apparently time for dinner and Mitch found Reegan in the kitchen, trying to bite into the grapefruit he took out of the fridge. What a kid... at least he is getting plenty of Vitamin C.

Random Pictures

Reegan copies EVERYTHING Mitch does. When Mitch uses the computer he normally puts a pillow under the computer. The after Christmas we went and looked around at some stores, and came across a kid computer. Reegan saw Mitch on the computer, took off to his bedroom and got his own pillow and went to work next to Mitch. (Dont mind the laundry on the couch behind Reegan, I am only do so much at once! :) )

Reegan loves it when Mitch has a day off of work and can play with him. They were building a tower with his new lego's, and Reegan was so excited at how tall it was!
Aunt Holly & Uncle Matt gave Reegan a Semi that hauls trucks. He LOVES it and drives that thing all over, all day long. As you can tell, he could not wait to get his jammies either all the way on or all the way off, before he started to play!
Reegan got a basketball hoop from Grandma and Grandpa Taylor. He loves it and just plays all day! Again, dont mind the almost naked boy, some days its not worth the fight to get dressed fully before playing!
FINALLY!! We moved Reegan out of his crib about 6 weeks ago. I LOVED him in the crib because he would go to sleep with out any problems and sleep all night. Since we put the full size bed up, he has always just wanted to sleep on the floor and makes Mitch sleep on the bed every night. (Mitch is grateful that he gets the bed, but I dont need to have a 6 year old that only sleeps on the floor, so I made Mitch give the bed up!) This is the first night that he actually started in the bed and stayed in the bed. We are making progress.... Of course, he has Dena right by his side!

"my little chair..."

This past week Mitch and I started going through some baby stuff to get everything ready. I pulled out the bouncy chair thing to get it all washed up and ready for #2, and Reegan found it in the baby room last night. He came out of the room carrying the chair saying, "Ooooh my little chair". I tried to explain to him that it was for a baby, but he kept trying to sit his cute little butt in the chair. So I told him that the chair was for Dena, the famous white teddy bear. So for about 2 hours last night, we had to put Dena in and out of the chair and make sure she was "seat belted" in..... He was very upset if she was not seat belted. I have a feeling we may need 2 bouncy chairs when we finally have our new addition. Reegan will probably still assume that the first chair is for DENA only....
